To standardize appropriate guidelines to note various pixel numbers, for the purpose to provide correct indicator for the customers to choose suitable products, based on fair competition principle. (1) Purpose of DSC Editing Group is to refine the "JCIA Guideline for noting in catalogs" published on March 12, 1998, to achieve original purposes taking account of innovations and diversities in techniques within recent three years. (2) Published revise version of " JCIA Guideline for noting in catalogs" on April 10, 2001. This guideline shall be adopted for all of DSC products which introduced into market after September 1, 2001.
