On September 23, 2008, CIPA held "Photo Industry Joint Conference" in association with Photoindustrie-Verband e.V.(PIV) at "photokina 2008 world of imaging"(Cologne, Germany).

Considering the current tariff administration by the EC, we adopted two joint statements below endorsed by 20 industry associations in Europe, US and Japan. On September 24, 2008, we released them from the press center to the various media around the world.
